Behrens Christmas

The day after Christmas we left for New Braunfels. Daniel's parents had rented a little house at Schlitterbahn . Yes Schlitterbahn had a Christmas thing this year. So we made the 4 hour drive after Daniel got off work. It was beautiful as we drove up and saw all the lights in the trees and on the buildings. I want to know how long it took them to put up all the lights.

Saturday we woke up and had Christmas. We decided this year to do a gift exchange with gift cards and ornaments. It was blast and I think a new tradition. All the kiddos got a little something from Granny and Pepaw b/c they had to get them something. That evening we went to the Christmas at the park. It was beautiful with all the lights and Christmas music. They said there was going to be snow! Well no snow again it was 70 something degrees and if you were lucky you might get hit with the wet foam from the snow machine in different areas of the park. There was one of the water slides that they had sleds available for you to go down. Daniel was the only one that stood in line for the slide. He had fun though. Wish I could have seen him, little man was going to bed.


There was great photo opportunities that we took part in and had a great picture for a Christmas card if we had done one. Sorry maybe next year.
