Easter Part 2

The past couple of years we have been out of town for Easter and this year we decided to stay in town and have some friends over to celebrate our CHRIST. I believe we had around 32 people at our house counting adults and kiddos. We planned an egg hunt for all the kiddos and some water fun. It was blast for all. And I have to mention DB made the BEST SMOKED CHICKEN EVER!!! Sorry Babes Chicken I think he has you beat!!!!

We had a really good time and enjoyed having friends over. I have to give all the credit of the yummy food to my hubby that woke up at 4:00 am to get the brisket started smoking. Easter morning H was not feeling that well but we headed off to church.

The kiddos had one more egg hunt to do provided by their Nanny and PawPaw. B/c God decided to bless His land with some much needed rain we did our egg hunt inside. DB said that his mom used to hide eggs in their room b/c she always did special eggs for each child and that way they all got the same amount of eggs. So to carry on his sweet mama's tradition we got to hiding. M was first and had a blast hunting and finding

H was a pro after two hunts under the belt and was ready to find more pink and purple eggs.

We did stick a few more events in the middle of all the Easter fun but those will be a different post. .
