This 4th of July was pretty relaxing for the Behrens fam. We played at the park (ok sweated at the park), came home and ate lunch and then the kiddos and DB took naps on the living room floor. It is so sweet to see all of your loves laying together for a nap. I laied there for a few and as soon as everyone fell asleep I headed to do some housework. Nothing like a quiet house to get housework done.
After about an hour and half DB woke up. A short time later he went back into the living room and started screaming "where are our kids!" MOMMY adrenaline in high gear. We ran to the back yard to see if they had decided to go play. We were overjoyed and a little upset when we found them in the shed. Malachi's statement "we were looking for you" "we need something to keep these doors shut" WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING!!! is what was going through our heads. We got them back inside and talked about not going outside with out mommy or daddy or atleast telling us.
WOW So Happy 4th of July!!! AMEN our children were safe and we still have a family to celebrate with.
