After getting set-up we called it a night to rest up for a wonderful weekend.
The kiddos actually let us sleep in. After some grub we headed to the beach to get some swimming in before it got to hot. Malachi was very excited to hit the waves. Hailey has suprised us all when it comes to the water. She runs full force towards it and goes in a good ways. Then that is enough and playing in the sand is more her speed. Malachi learned how to jump up make a bubble in his mouth and go under the water. That boy is like a fish. It was pretty windy so there was some pretty good waves crashing. Aparantly the crashing of the waves put little miss right to sleep.
As the day went on it did get pretty hot so we headed into town to get some more bottled water and let the kiddos take a nap while we did that. We explored the rest of the camp ground and found the fishing spot. So later that evening Daniel took his little guy out to catch a good time! Hailey and I headed off for a little walk that ended up to be about a 2 mile walk, like the waves the motion of the stroller put her right to sleep so we headed back to the camper while the boys finished up. Smores were on the menu and Malachi enjoyed all the yummy goodness and Hailey enjoyed the chocolate.
Sunday the only thing on the agenda was snow cones, my birthday request. I also got a little one-on-one time with my little man. We went fishing.
There was a lot of bike riding
Tired little girl
We took a hike as a family Monday morning. It was very nice and peacefull.
The kids enjoyed themselves, as well as DB and I. We are loving all the memories we are making as a family as well as for the children.
