WATERMELON

Summer means enjoying homemade ice cream and watermelon. We have only had homemade ice cream once so far but more is still to come. We have had our fair share of watermelon so far. Last week we picked one up at the store and Malachi asked for some every day.

Malachi asked for some all weekend so we picked up another one. I was cutting the watermelon with some help of two little eager ones. I am pretty sure Malachi ate 1/4 of it before any of it made it into the bowl. I cut him off at that point.

Hailey even got in on the act. We got her down to her buda belly and she went to town. She put down three pieces and was loving them.

As a child my grandfather loved bringing us watermelons. I know he enjoyed watching my two from above eating his favorite food!!
