On the Road Again

When I was little this song was sung around our house a lot. My dad traveled often and we would also sing "on the road again, just cannot wait to get on the road again" every time was packing or heading out the door. That song sums up our weekend.

Daniel's little sister GRADUATED COLLEGE!!! YEAH!! we were all very excited for her. Daniel's grandparents came down and road with us to College Station. This meant that Harley had to have an adventure. He road in the back of the truck in a kennel. The first half of the trip was not to bad for him but for what ever reason he would not lay day for the last part. So after standing up in the back of a pick up for an hour and half the poor thing was tired and could not walk that well when we got to my parents house. Papa took good care of Harley while we went and had dinner. Harley was better by the time we got back from dinner. Just had to get his land legs underneath him.

Saturday we loaded back up and headed to Huntsville for the big graduation. Daniel and I were a little worried about the long ceremony but from what I was told Malachi did really well. Daniel took him to the top of the areana so he could move a little more. We had a great celebration dinner with all three grandboys running in circles in their matching out fits (sorry no pictures, another story).

Sunday Daniel and his dad headed to La Grange to work at the new house and I picked up his mother and grandparents and head to La Grange once everyone got to moving around. Then it was another long ride in the truck back to Fort Worth. Harley did much better this time. He laid day most of the trip. For Malachi it was a different story, the boy had had enough of the road and car seat. I do not blame him. He slept great lastnight and will hopefully have a good day of naps ahead.

So the other story my camera decided it did not want to work this weekend. Not sure what is wrong with it but praying that Mimi's Snuggles can bring in some money to help fund a new camera before the new little one gets here. So pictures to come at some point.
