OK I know it has been some time since our last post. Sorry about that. Life with a little one is busy and we have been on the road the past two weekends. Yes we thought the same thing you are, "are we crazy". The answer was yes but we got to see family which was nice. We surprised my dad for his birthday. No one knew we were coming so that was a nice visit. Last weekend we went to Katy for Daniel's 10 year high school reunion, yes he is that OLD!! Then we went and say Daniel's grandfather. It was a nice visit but fast. I think we are in town for the rest of the August!
Malachi is learning new things everyday. He is pulling up on everything so we lowered his bed, wow that made me feel that he was a big boy now. The realization that he is turning 1 year old in a month is a little depressing for me. He is not my little baby anymore. Malachi is my BIG BOY! Here are some of the things he has learned to do. He is pulling up on items in the house. He has mastered crawling up the steps in the living room. Last weekend he finally got on all fours and moved, for a while it has just been the army crawl, let me tell you he can move pretty fast on the belly! He is eating more and more table foods. He says "mama, mom, and dada". This was a great moment to hear those words as a parent. Well as you can see he is growing and development every day. I know this has gotten long so come back for pictures of our BIG GUY soon.
