Summer Randomness

This summer has been full of some random times.  We had the great privilege to have Nanny come for a week to take M to swim lessons and so we got a little extra Nanny love in.  One good thing about Nanny is that she always brings something fun with her.  This time it was Jiffy Pop, you know the popcorn you make on the stove.  I had never made this before so the kiddos were pretty excited.

I have to say it was some pretty yummy popcorn.

We have also taken in a Friday Night out in Aledo with some great friends.  It was nice being in a small town and the kiddos running all over the street (ok it was blocked of) and not have to worry about them to much.  They got a bunch of free stuff and the big highlight was the tattoos and face painting.  M was a little to busy for me to get  a picture of him so this will have to do!

Some more randomness is we planted a garden again this year.  We skipped last year due to the heat and we hoped this year would be a little better. So far so good.  We have watermelon, cantaloupe, squash, green beans, and tomatoes growing.  The squash got to big to fast so not that great.  The tomatoes have been wonderful and we are still waiting on the watermelon and cantaloupe to grow some more.

The last part of random is the at the daycare the kiddos go to they started a COOL KID program.  Every week on Tuesday they select a new COOL KID for each class.  This cook kid has to have done something nice with out being asked or some other great thing that gets them noticed.  Well our very own H was selected a week ago so she got some fun prizes and even got a yard sign.

I think that is enough randomness for the time being. Next up is someone turned the big 30!!!
