Treating no Tricking

Halloween was a blast this year. Malachi was very excited to dress up in two different costumes and Hailey well, she was just along for the ride.

First chance to dress-up was for the kiddos school book parade. Last year we had some very cute "behrens Bears". This year I had to continue with the matching (come on I only have one more year of it) and they went as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. They were the cutest kiddos there, maybe a little bias!!

Then it was on to Halloween. Usually there are no children in our neighborhood on Halloween so we headed to the church for the trunk or Treat with Spiderman and Minnie Mouse. Malachi had one thing on his mind and that was the bounce houses. Hailey on the other hand got the idea of Halloween and was ready for some candy.
After some excitement a little snack was in order and then more bouncing.

As we headed home DB saw a bunch of porch lights on and we all know what that means people are home and they are ready for some cutie pies! So b/c M and H have the best DAD ever he drove them around the neighborhood getting more candy.
Almost every house we went to our kiddos where the first to show up and it was 7:30 at night so each of them would get anywhere from 2 pieces of candy to 4!!

Once we headed home the loot was admired

And a cute little Minnie Mouse was all tuckered out

We are very thankful to live in such a great community and have some really kind neighborhs. Halloween was a great family night and one we will remember for a while.
