Birthday Weekend

So around here we do birthdays right at least for the kiddos! We had a whole weekend of birthday fun for our little guy. His party is not until the end of the month so we wanted to do something fun for him around his birthday. We asked the question "what do you want for your birthday" and got this "birthdays are not for presents Christmas is" So we need a little work on that but he did know what he wanted to do. He wanted to go to bouncy houses, be bateman and go to the zoo.

Saturday we woke the kiddos up EARLY to head to Plano's Hotair Balloon festival. We thought we were going to miss the balloons but we got there at 7:00 am and got to see them all being blown up. That was the first time for me forsure that I have ever seen one that close. We were allowed to go down right beside them.
We had a great time seeing the balloons.


Hailey thought they were a little to loud but Malachi was in aw of them all, and so was his mama and daddy.

They did have some bounce slides so we got that in and Malachi had a blast. We saw our little boy climbing one of them and DB said "wow look at that almost 4 year old". He has grown way to fast for our liking (ok maybe just my liking)

Sunday we had another day of fun at Gladney. They had pony rides Oh sorry those are "horses mom"!!

You would think we had had all the birthday fun we could but no we were not through yet. We still have the big day. Next post!!
