Camping the summer away

Life at our house is never boring and it seems as most people are really busy during the holiday time we are busy during the spring and summer. Well life just got a little bit more busy, we added something to do as a family that would hopefully make life slow down for a weekend here or there. We bought a camper. It has been something we have wanted to do for a few years now and we were blessed to find the one we wanted and be able to purchase it. So we are now the owners of a camper that fills up our driveway for the time being.
For Malachi it is like a dream come true.

We took our first trip a couple of weekends ago. We decided to stay close so we went to Benbrook Lake. What a great place to get out in nature where it is quiet and still be so close to town if you need something. Ok a wal-mart run was made for the NEED items for the camper.

Malachi picked to sleep on the top bunk (scared mama just a little). But he did fine. Hailey enjoyed her bottom bunk all snuggled up.

We had some friends come out Saturday night and they are fellow camper owners so they took our first official Behrens Family Camping Trip photo.

We are very excited to make a lot of family memories for our kiddos.
