I am taking today's post title from the breakfast served to the parents this morning at Malachi's school! That is right we started Kindergarten today.
Our sweet "Big Guy" is officially a BIG GUY! He walked into his school with confidence, ok maybe a little scared confidence. As he held his daddy's hand this morning walking up to school he told us that he was a little scared. What a big day for such a little guy, a new experience and tones of unknowns.
This year ahead will be full of learning, laughing, new friends, and growing. He has already lost six teeth, grown three inches this past year, and has matured over the summer. We cannot wait to see what else is in store for our Big Guy.
Malachi,
You are a gift from God. He created you to be unique, smart, handsome, funny, and full of life. This is the start of a lot of learning and school for you. Daddy and I pray that you take every experience and use them to develop into the young man God wants you to be. No matter how old you are or how much you think Dad and I don't know please always remember we are here to listen about your day, your worries, and your excitement.
