Present Time

This was the first year Malachi really got excited about Christmas. He did not understand the whole Santa thing b/c we do not do all that kind of stuff. Granted he does know that there is a Santa but we do not teach that Santa brings presents. So this would make for a very funny face from him when people would ask him "what did Santa bring you". We would have to explain it every time! I am not even for sure Malachi knew you got presents at Christmas b/c I had not wrapped anything. I was to afraid of the little hands that might get into them.

On to the good part. We did three different present times this year. The first one was with my parents. Malachi was cracking us up b/c with every present we heard "there is going to be something in here"! Once again my mom went overboard and the kids got a lot of fun stuff. Hailey liked playing with everything but like her birthday the excitement was not really in the opening of the presents. She did get some fun things.
The girl loves her babies
She opened her stocking and found these fun keys and cell phone. Pretty much that was all she needed!!

The girls got practical things! Mom gave me new dishes, WONDERFUL!
Dad gave her new pots and pans (after he chunked the old ones)!

The boys got fun things! Db has been wanting a helicopter to fly in the house and outside so this was his year!

Dad got more books then he could possibly read in his life time from his favorite author. But his best present yet was a oil painting that will never go to print from his favorite Artist.

This was a great Christmas that we got to share with my family.
